OSCS Connections

Thursday, June 12th

5:30pm to 6:30pm

Location: Hospitality Center at 2315 Chicago Avenue (Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church/Our Saviour’s Community Services)

This new event series is designed for anyone who’s interested in connecting with Our Saviour’s Community Services and getting to know our organization better, from long-time supporters to newcomers. Each event will focus on a specific theme that aims to expand understanding of and connection to our organization.

Our second event on June 12th will feature a panel of staff members who will talk about their day-to-day experiences working directly with our participants. This event follows our first event that focused on providing a general overview of our two programs: Our Saviour’s Housing and the English Learning Center. Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of if you’ve attended our first event or not. While we will have set questions to ask our panel members, make sure to bring your questions and a friend!

Our staff panel will feature:

  • CJ – Lead Case Manager for Permanent Supportive Housing team at Our Saviour’s Housing
  • Jonathan – Lead Shelter Worker at the Our Saviour’s Housing Emergency Shelter
  • Mohamed – Senior Program Assistant at the English Learning Center

RSVP Here for June 12th

If you plan on attending, please fill out this form to let us know! Registration is not required but helps us ensure our space is set up appropriately, share parking information with you, and for notifying folks in case of any weather-related changes.

If you’re unable to attend but would like to receive a recording, please fill out the form so that we can make plans to share the recording with you after the event.

Directions and Parking:

The event will be held at 2315 Chicago Ave S, where OSCS administrative offices are located. If you are planning on using digital maps for directions, enter “Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church” for the best directions.

To accommodate parking needs for attendees, we are providing a parking code to park for no cost the Hope Academy Parking Garage. Access to this ramp is controlled, and you will only be able to enter and exit the ramp with an access code. Please fill out the registration form to receive the parking code, or reach out to Arden at arden@oscs-mn.org for details.

The address for garage is 715 E 24th St (between Chicago and Portland Ave), approximately one block west of 2315 Chicago Ave.

There is unrestricted street parking along 24th St and after 3PM on Chicago Avenue, as well as parking spaces in the alley behind 2315 Chicago. However, these spots generally fill up during weekday evenings.  When in doubt, aim for the parking ramp, but make sure you have the code with you!

Other details:

In case of cancellation due to bad weather – we will let those who register know via email. In case of cancellation, we would also share updates on the ELC and OSH Facebook pages, as well as the OSCS Instagram page.

If you have any questions about this event or OSCS Connections, please reach out to Arden, our Communications and Fundraising Coordinator, at arden@oscs-mn.org or at 612-386-8430.
