OSCS introduces new mission and vision statements

After months of gathering feedback and revising drafts, with input from staff, board members, and participants, Our Saviour’s Community Services is excited to reveal our new mission and vision statements:

Our Mission

To create bridges to greater stability alongside adults navigating complex and oppressive systems.

Our Vision

Everyone thrives and feels at home. No one faces challenges alone.

These statements represent the work that takes place at OSCS every day, as well as the future we want to build together with our participants and supporters. These words reflect the sense of partnership, belonging, and hope we strive to bring into our work. We chose the word “alongside” because we recognize the services we provide are paired with the incredible tenacity and drive our students, guests, and residents exhibit. We chose the word “home” because we hope to create spaces where people feel welcomed, supported, and safe.

We hope you feel inspired to partner with us in this mission, and work with us toward a Minneapolis where everyone thrives.
